At home or at our American Church, we speak English. Now the children have started at the German school, where the lessons are in German, but there is also a lot of Italian spoken. I (Hanne) speak always German when at home. Unfortunately, we don´t speak Italian yet.

I would love to explore the possibility of joining/creating a multi-cultural/language playgroup in the Milan area!

There is a big expat comunity here in Assisi, and we run an inn and work overwhelmingly with English speaking guests, so our son currently hears English much more that Italian, though seems to be picking them up at the same rate. I would love to get a group of Anglo/Italian couples with kids organized in the area.

We are an english/italian couple with a young couple and we heard of a play
group in the Lakes region that is working very well and we'd like to put
together something similar. We think it would benefit both the kids and the
parents alike.
