School and a free education is a wonderful thing. It teaches children all the basic principles in all the basic subjects and gets them ready for high school, which then in turn prepares them for college. As Americans, we are so blessed to live in a country where education is free and somewhat mandatory, but schools and classrooms are often not enough for our students. To have a high quality knowledge base about a subject, more time spent learning needs to be put in outside of the school walls. Language is a great example of having to go the extra mile to achieve a high sense of knowledge and understanding.
Many of you parents probably assume that the classroom will be enough to teach your child a new language. School language systems give kids a base knowledge but nothing more. Generally kids don’t learn another language at all until their high school years roll around and by the time they get to college they forget everything they learned. If you want to know more than just a few words and phrases and want to be able to do more than simply count to ten, investing time in a program such as ours is completely worth the time.
One of our students who was an adult took his career to the next level by investing his time and money into one of our courses. He had stated that he took several Spanish classes in high school and one in college, but he forgot almost everything. He graduated college and started his own window washing business called Northwest Glass Act. He realized he didn’t enjoy this business and wanted to go get a corporate job with a company he was fond of but they required him to be close to fluent in Spanish. Schools obviously didn’t teach him affectively to be qualified for the position, now he is fluent in Spanish since he was committed to learning through our course.
